Hearing what people who have used Neuromuscular Dentistry to resolve their symptoms have to say about their experience is one of the best ways to get a feel for what Neuromuscular Dentistry is really about.
Since being restored neuromuscularly, I have received numerous comments about looking younger and thinner (even though I am not). I haven’t been having the dizziness I was experiencing before being restored to my correct bite position.

I suffered a number of symptoms that I thought were just normal problems that everyone had. I had frequent lower back pain and stiffness in the neck and limited range of motion. I always attributed this to having lifted something wrong or to have overdone a sporting activity. I could never sit in more than one position for more than 10 minutes. My head assumed a tilted position and my posture was not good either–I always had a broad stance just to keep my balance. I would wake up to my arms being numb.
Today my stance is normal, head posture is better, not a single stiff neck or lower back discomfort, I stand upright, my shoulders are not rounded inwards, no arm numbness and all over I’m feeling better. I guess you don’t really know you have a problem until the problem is taken away. Thank you for making a change in my life.

I suffered from daily headaches and vertigo, which literally became debilitating. I would avoid doing a lot of activities. The feeling that everything around me was turning or that I was falling kept me from really living life.
I’ve go to tell you that after my neuromuscular treatment. My bite feels great. I’ve done more with my family in the past 10 months than I did in the previous ten years. I’ve smiled more in these past 10 months that the previous 20 years. I get asked daily about my smile!
Consider yourself lucky if you have never experienced vertigo, because it is unbelievably debilitating. When I would lie flat, I would get a 36 hour dizzy spell. During these dizzy spells, I would spend a day and a half sitting upright without moving my head. My lifelong sport of swimming competition was out of the question and so was skiing. I was prescribed 2 medications, which provided only minimal relief.
After the dental treatment, my vertigo is gone, I am absolutely comfortable for the first time in my life, and my teeth are beautiful. In fact, I am swimming competitively again and skiing to my heart’s delight! Thank you for helping me overcome this debilitating vertigo and allowing me to do the things I love to do.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you and your staff. I came to your office very unhappy with the look of my teeth and not very hopeful that they could be corrected or that I would ever have a pleasing smile. Now that the restoration in done, I could not be happier with the results. It has been such a dramatic change from my originally discolored teeth with the imperfections to a smile with white, straight, proportioned teeth that look and feel absolutely natural! Now, for the first time in my life, I love my smile and can enjoy smiling for other people.
I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how pleased I am with my new smile. The smile, you can see. What you can’t see is how pleased I am with my new lease on life. As I discussed with you, I was having severe pain and discomfort in my upper neck region, all of my muscles of mastication, and headaches, which were progressively getting worse. I was taking my fair share of NSAIDS to control the problem. Since you restored my teeth to the correct neuromuscular position, I have felt great and no longer have to take those NSAIDS!
THANK YOU for giving me my smile (I use it everyday). I don’t wake up anymore wondering if I’ll have a toothache. I don’t go to bed dreading another trip to the dentist’s office for another root canal. But, best of all, I smile now without even thinking about it. It took awhile. At first, I still wanted to cover my mouth up when I talked or when people looked at me. Thank you again.

When I came to you, my chief complaint was more chronic in nature than acute. Symptoms included muscle soreness of the jaw and a persistent soreness through my shoulders and cervical muscles. I had assumed that it was completely normal to have the chronic soreness through my shoulders, and assumed it was an occupationally related hazard. I could not have been more wrong. I now know that the way my teeth came together was affecting my overall posture.
Since treatment, what I used to not so lovingly refer to as my “buffalo hump” (pronounced convexity in the general vicinity of C3) has all but disappeared, with that is also gone the chronic shoulder soreness. One great, big smile says it all. Thank you so very much for doing not only what I knew you could do, but also more than I could have ever imagined possible.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! It has been 4 months since my neuromuscular treatment and I have not had one single migraine…in fact, I have not had any kind of headache at all!!! It is amazing. I think back to my “headache history”…all the days I spent in the darkest room of my house (usually my closet), curled up in a fetal position, nauseous, touch and light intolerant…and just praying for the pain to go away…it’s hard for me to express the gratitude I have to you for solving my problem. You have no idea how you have changed my life.
I heard popping and clicking in my jaw joint. I had a 20-year history of pain in the head and neck area as well as muscle tension, and numbness in my hand. I would clench and grind my teeth at night and occasionally during the day.
After my neuromuscular treatment, I was very comfortable and exceptionally happy with the end results. No more headaches, muscle pain, numbness of the hand and popping of the joint. I also no longer clench and grind my teeth. I am very confident in the science and benefits of neuromuscular dentistry. Thanks for everything.
